Back by popular demand is the LUCY STOMP, our annual competitive grape stomp! Two person teams jump into barrels of Sangiovese and stomp like mad for three minutes to see who produces the most juice! Believe us, it’s VERY aerobic and VERY fun!

We are pleased to have Mike Walters, former morning news anchor

for W-USA Channel 9 and now an award winning documentary film maker, join us once again to MC the event and provide color commentary on the Stomp! We also welcome Kate Walters back once again to help officiate the stomp!

Due to the incredible popularity of our stomp and our

desire for the event to run as smoothly as possible, we will be

requiring pre-registration for all ‘Stompers’ this year.

How Do I Register?

If your two person team is interested in stomping, please send an email to LUCY@threefoxvineyards.com and provide the names of the stompers and a contact phone number. It’s also a good idea to have a 3^rd person serve as a ‘cup changer’. This person will swap out the cups as they fill with juice from your stomping. If you don’t have your own ‘cup changer’, no worries! We are always able to recruit them from the crowd and we’ll make sure you have one.

All stompers must be at least 18 years old due to insurance reasons. (We’ll have a separate stomping area available for kids)

We have a limited number of spots available. We will prioritize all registrants by the datetime stamp of the email we receive. We will post the list of registrants on this page at 11pm each Sunday, between now and whenever all spots are filled. When all spots are taken, this page will be updated to reflect that registration is closed.

What Happens When All Spots Are Filled?

We will maintain a waiting list, in the event of cancellation or no show. You can still email us your name after Registration is closed to get on the waiting list.

Also, we do anticipate having more stompers than spots available, but we don’t want anyone to miss out on the fun. We’ll have a couple extra barrels available for ‘stomping for fun’. These barrels will not be part of the competition but anyone who didn’t get a spot in the competitive stomp is welcome to jump in and stomp away!

AND DON’T FORGET - We also have a Lucy / Ethel / Ricky / Fred look-alike costume contest if you feel like a less energetic competition!

We’ll have live music throughout the afternoon and our outdoor and indoor tasting bars will be pouring all your favorite Three Fox wines. Our Blessing of the Harvest Will Take Place at approximately 3pm.

Stomp Festivities Get Underway (or under foot!) around 12pm and will continue through 3pm. Bring a picnic and your feet and we’ll supply the grapes for stomping, the wine for drinking and a very good time!
