At Three Fox, we believe in ever evolving education and experimentation that allow for us to highlight the most true expression of the grapes. Our production is focused on small batches (most wines are less than 100 cases with some as low as 20) which allows for us to learn, grow, and adapt with current research and industry trends. This includes varying all aspects of the process; from new methods of production and fermentation, to barrel selection, to yeasts, and aging durations, that allow us to deliver a unique tasting room experience. The result: a masterfully crafted product where engineering precision and process meets art and creative expression.

One of our favorite varietals close to our heart at Three Fox is the Nebbiolo. Being one of 5 wineries in Virginia that grow it, we like to play with it in different ways. This year, we wanted to try some of the harvest in a 100% Provence style Rosé. For this we specifically harvested early to retain the acids and kept the juice on skins for 4 hours. The result is a bold and unique wine that will definitely be made again next year. Tasting Notes: Blue raspberry, watermelon sherbet, touch of maraschino cherry, lemon zest medium light body, dry finish.
